Inaugural Alumni vs. Varsity Volleyball Match Held

The varsity boys volleyball team defeated the alums 3-1 in the inaugural Alumni vs. Varsity Volleyball Match on Feb. 24. Chadwick School’s “Godfathers of Volleyball,” program founders Max Sloves '92 and Shaun Tucker '91, organized the event.

The alums fought valiantly, with a balanced mix of seven players from the early ’90s and mid-’00s. Sloves, Tucker and Adam Ferris ’93 displayed no loss of speed or ability in leading the alumni, while the younger alums — Clay Anthony ’04, Peter Bartlett ’05, Brian Worthge ’06 and John Lane ’06 — showed why the program is now one of the top 10 in the division.
