Alumni vs. Varsity Soccer Games

On Dec 23, 2006, Nicole Gervais, Kelsey Kern, Tyler Press '04, Leah Tecle '05, Rosie
Levy '05, Britney Scannell '05, Ellison Thomas '05 and Nicole Fisk '05 returned to campus to compete in the alumni vs. varsity girls' soccer game.
A entertaining game was played, with varsity coaches Jenni Tanaka and
Celeste Adams joining Team Alumni. Both teams claimed victory, but no
official score was kept. All of the players and spectators enjoyed a
great lunch following the game, and Megan Scannell and Suzi Hale
provided desserts for all of the players.
Alumni vs. Chadwick Boys' Varsity
More than 25 former Dolphin players — including players from
several CIF Championship squads of the 1990s, and current pro John
Thorrington, who played for the world-famous Manchester
United FC and the U.S. National Team — returned to Chadwick's
Commander Field for the annual Alumni Game. Some of the returning
alumni included Stefano Moscato '87, Adam Ferris '93, Sean Amberg '94, Colin Ferris '95, David Eisenberg '97, Matt Weber '98, Mark Thorrington '00, Gbendoba Idah '00, John Meek '01, David Cohen '03 and Patrick Bjornstrom '04.
The game was an 80-minute, spirited match, and the final score was 2-1
Chadwick. The alums stayed and played for at least an hour after the
regulation game ended.
